Hi Amolines,
Welcome to the forum and welcome in Belgium ; the windsurfing season has just started now, but the water is still a bit cold. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_40
Where are you from and what kind of windsurfing do you like : free-ride, waves, speed?
Hope to see you soon on the water. ;2)
To sail or not to sail, that's the question.

I'm coming from Barcelona, last year I manage to finish my season there, then I moved all my stuff here.
I have freewave boards, normally I try to catch some waves, but I sailed quite a lot in flat water also.
My bigest sail is 6.5, I don't usually go with ligth wind, I really like strong wind, my level is not high for the
Time I'm sailing Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_41 , but improving day by day, and looking forward to meet here with some local sailors :tbo .
Just this afternoon I received my new set of sails, so, I need to test it :bo
Thanks for the wellcome guys, I hope you see you soon!

Hi guys, yesterday i was in Barrare de l'eau, it seems to me a fantastic place , but correct me If I'm wrong saying that that lake is more for formula boards.
I don't know if there are strong winds there to sails with small sails ........
Any information will be usefull .......
And of course, thanks to everybody helping me in find the good places :bo

I was there too ; it's a pity we haven't met. Next time you intend to go and sail somewhere, let it know on the forum in the proper section. Most appointments are made like this.
No, the lake is not just for formula. Yesterday was not representative because the wind was blowing from the north. The wind is most of the time blowing from the south sector and you can have very good sessions there with a freeride or slalom board. Of course the wind is not so constant and generally not so strong as by the see. You need more volume for the board and larger sails.
To sail or not to sail, that's the question.
