Hi!

My name is Orlando, I'm 25 and just arrived to Brussels as an expat, and... I'd like to go out windsurfing! (who in here doesn't, right?), so... I'm in the beginers class, I've had a taste of this, first in the caribean some time ago and then in the french coast last year, and boy I became hooked!

I have no gear with me, except for my wetsuit, so if anyone knows, goes or whatever to a nearby spot with rentals, I'd definitely be interested!

Hi Orlando, welcome on Windsurf Belgium.
I think there are some people who speak english on the forum.
Belgian weather is not looking like Caribean ( :D ) but there are some nice places to do windsurf. You can rent material, boards, sails... and gears !
If you want some information of the biggest lake in Belgium, you may visit www.espacefun.be, the people are really nice, and will you provide what you need.

Hi !! First of all welcome to Belgium and welcome to the belgian windsurfing world :D The lake is about 1 hour from brussels. There are people from brussels in this forum too, so I hope that someone will help you to go there. Hope to see you during the next windsurf sessions

It's cool to hear from you guys, I'll try to go next weekend to a local windsurf shop in Brussels to get directions to go to this nearby lake someone mentioned.

By the way, I'm from Colombia, however I've spent the last few years of my life traveling around in Europe. :retard:
